The Process

Utilizing the agile development method, our team worked through 4 two-week sprints to solidify our ideas. We mostly brainstormed during the first sprint, establishing our inital sketches and UI concepts. We conducted user research and conceptual testing during the second sprint. During the third sprint, we re-evaluated our problem statement to determine if we wanted to move forward with the project. Finally, in the last sprint, we created our physical prototypes, created our website portfolio, took marketing pictures, and finished up our entire project.

During this process, we iterated our designs multiple times, specifically focusing on what problem we wanted to solve. Our team has continually been asking ourseves what role communication plays in the everyday life of average adults, students, and consumers. We noticed early on that there was indeed feelings of inadequacy with current cellular dependencies.
